PESHAWAR: Rainwater seeping into a basement of a house in the Dara Adam Khel district of Peshawar resulted in the deaths of at least 11 individuals, including three mothers and six children.
Eleven people lost their lives when rains swamped the basement of Amjad’s house, according to the rescue personnel. Every deceased person has been removed from the location.
Meanwhile, several lightning strikes in Tharparkar claimed the lives of eight persons. In contrast, three people died in Rawalpindi as a result of a severe downpour.
In addition, as monsoon currents battered the twin towns of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, numerous low-lying neighborhoods were submerged.
