(Web Desk): As the country mourns the unfortunate deaths of families in Murree on Saturday due to a heavy snowstorm, Pakistani celebrities have taken to social media to express their grief and anguish.

Faisal Quershi made a humble request on Twitter for people to pray for the departed souls as well as those who are still trapped there in dangerous situations. The star expressed her displeasure after seeing videos of Murree and Galyat circulating on the internet, calling it “disturbing” as a human.

“Please pray for the souls of those who have passed away…

Receiving terrible and unpleasant Muree and Galyat vids. Due to harsh weather conditions, some 20 persons (local visitors), including women and children, have died.” He expressed himself.

Mustafa Zahid, a Pakistani music composer, also tweeted prayers for the sick and bereaved, as well as respectfully requested that people refrain from sharing videos.

“Wake up to really disturbing news coming from #Murree,” he said. Please do not distribute the upsetting videos. May Allah keep us all safe and grant sabr to those who have lost loved ones.”
