ISLAMABAD: More rain, windstorms, and thundershowers are expected during the next 24 hours in Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, south and upper Punjab, the Pothohar region, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
In isolated areas in upper Sindh, higher Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeastern Punjab, the Pothohar region, and Kashmir, there is a good chance of seeing heavy rainfall.
Strong monsoon currents that were continuously entering the country’s higher regions from the Arabian Sea in its central and southern regions did so in accordance with the synoptic conditions.
