ISLAMABAD: The next 24 hours are expected to bring rain, windstorms, and thundershowers with isolated heavy rainfall to Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Punjab, the Potohar area, and Islamabad, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

In isolated areas of Gilgit-Baltistan, south and central Punjab, northeast and south Baluchistan, and southeast and upper Sindh, there is a chance of rain, windstorms, or thundershowers.

The synoptic situation indicates that monsoon currents from the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea are entering the upper regions of the nation at lower tropospheric levels, with the possibility of entering the central regions starting on Saturday.
