ISLAMABAD — According to Aleema Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was disappointed that his requests were not taken seriously.
She cited him as stating, “Keep me in jail, but release the other prisoners,” when speaking outside Adiala Jail.
Aleema underlined that the PTI founder made it clear he would not accept house imprisonment or leave the nation. He stated that he would urge Pakistanis living abroad to start paying money back to Pakistan if two of his conditions were met.
She also cited him, emphasizing that peace, political stability, and the rule of law are three essential components of Pakistan’s economic stability. She said the nation’s economy cannot prosper without these.
