KARACHI (ANews): On Thursday evening, Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi said that Karachi will be subject to Section 144 enforcement from December 31 to January 1.

Section 144 will be enforced in relation to New Year’s festivities, which will prohibit pyrotechnics and celebratory gunfire.

The notice forewarned that anybody caught in violation of Section 144 would face harsh consequences. To guarantee that the clause is strictly followed, police have been given instructions.
