Renowned model and actress Nadia Hussain was targeted by online fraudsters when a caller acting as an FIA official tried to extort Rs. 30 million from her in exchange for the release of her purported detained spouse, Atif.

According to City 21, a suspicious individual phoned Nadia Hussain and fraudulently claimed to have resolved issues with her spouse. The fraudster wanted Rs. 30 million and threatened her to keep the discussion quiet.

“This should be between you and me. The caller allegedly threatened Nadia Hussain, saying, “Don’t even mention this to anyone.”

Nadia Hussain expressed amazement and fury at the fraudulent conduct, questioning the boldness of preying on a vulnerable woman.

“I am surprised at those people who call a poor woman and tear her face apart,” she told me.

“You called me’son.'” “Your son is not doing well right now,” she remarked, addressing the fraudster.

Following the event, FIA authorities stated that harsh action will be taken against the person responsible for the fraudulent contact.

While facts of Atif’s supposed arrest on fraud charges are unclear, police have launched an investigation into the attempted scheme.
