The Trump administration is considering placing broad travel restrictions on people from dozens of countries as part of a new ban, according to sources familiar with the situation and an internal letter obtained by Reuters.
A US official, commenting on the condition of anonymity, stated that the list of impacted nations might still change and that the idea has yet to be authorized, including by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
The letter purportedly specifies 41 nations, which are divided into three groups.
