(Web Desk) – The National Highway Authority (NHA) has announced another toll hike for national roads and motorways.

The revised tariffs will take effect on April 1.

An official notification has been issued in this respect. Tolls for automobiles will be Rs70, vans Rs150, and buses Rs250. Two- and three-axle trucks will pay Rs300, while bigger trucks would pay Rs550.

Several major highways, including the M1, M3, M4, M5, M14, and E35, have undergone significant alterations. The toll for automobiles on the M1 Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway has risen from Rs500 to Rs550. The charge for the M3 Lahore-Abdul Hakeem Motorway has raised from Rs700 to Rs800.

Similarly, automobile tolls on the M4 Pindi Bhattian-Faisalabad-Multan road have increased from Rs950 to Rs1,050, while those on the M5 Multan-Sukkur Motorway have risen from Rs1,100 to Rs1,200.

The M14 Dera Ismail Khan-Hakla Motorway now charges Rs650 per vehicle, up from Rs600. The toll for automobiles on the E35 Hasan Abdal-Havelian-Mansehra highway has risen from Rs250 to Rs300.

Toll prices for large machinery on these routes currently range from Rs850 to Rs5,750.
