ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Democratic Alliance (PDM) said on Monday that the government’s coalition parties are being obliged to assist it in drafting legislation.
A three-hour virtual conference was held under the supervision of Maulana Fazl ur Rehman, according to facts. The meeting was also attended by Shahbaz Sharif, the president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-M), and Nawaz Sharif, the previous president of the PML-N.
During the meeting, the present political situation in Pakistan was discussed. The PDM steering committee was tasked with compiling all instructions for holding the long march.
Furthermore, it was determined that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Kamran Murtaza, and Atta ullah Tarar would be in charge of the legal processes in the case of ex-CJP Rana Shamim.
According to the notice, the PDM steering committee will meet on November 22. Legal advice will be sought for the formulation of directions. Furthermore, on November 23, final approvals on the steering committee’s instructions will be delivered.
While declaring the government’s tactics to be in violation of the country’s constitution, the PDM also said that the government had collected copies of tickets from coalition party members. It further said that the PDM will not allow any government meddling.
