PESHAWAR, Pakistan — On Tuesday, three police officers were injured in a hand grenade attack on a law enforcement patrol in Peshawar, Pakistan’s northwest.
Unidentified persons assaulted a police mobile vehicle in the Budh Bair district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, wounded three police officers, including a sub-inspector and two constables, according to reports.
The injured officers, including Sub-Inspector Fareed Khan, were taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to police.
Operations at SSP Haroon Rasheed paid a visit to the LRH Hospital, where he examined the injured police officers. SSP operations are focused on providing the finest medical care to those who have been harmed.
Police troops were on mobile duty inside the limits of Budh Bair police station, according to Haroon Rasheed.
Following the incident, law enforcement officials arrived on the scene, roped off the area, and began an exhaustive search for the perpetrators.
