SANGHAR: A journalist with a private news TV station was assassinated here on Sunday in Sindh province’s Sanghar district.
According to authorities, the unknown gunmen on a motorbike opened fire on Murtaza Shar, a local journalist, in the Jhol region of Sanghar district.
He was injured and transferred to a local hospital, where he died while receiving treatment. The assailants fled the scene.
The death of a Sanghar journalist has been described by police as the consequence of a longstanding feud, and the chief suspect, Ali Nawaz Shar, has been apprehended. The cops also found a weapon in his possession.
They also stated that an additional investigation into the incident is underway.
