A combined opposition delegation called on Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leaders in Islamabad on Monday night, amid escalating political tensions in the nation following the passage of a no-confidence resolution against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
According to reports, the opposition delegation met with MQM-P leaders Amir Khan, Waseem Akhtar, and Amin-ul-Haq at the Parliament Lodges.
Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) chairman Sardar Akhtar Mengal led the opposition delegation, which included Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Ahsan Iqbal, Ayaz Sadiq, Rana Sanaullah, and Khawaja Saad Rafiq, as well as Pakistan People’s Party stalwarts Khursheed Shah and Suhail Anwar Sial.
