The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday blocked police and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from arresting Sheikh Rasheed of the Awami Muslim League.

The IHC ruling came after the former interior minister, through his counsel, filed a suit alleging police harassment and crackdown on PTI leaders ahead of the Islamabad long march.

The IHC ordered Sheikh Rasheed to appear in court tomorrow in person and put a hold on the former federal minister’s detention until May 25.
