Dr. Yasmin Rashid, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was hurt on Wednesday after police attacked her car and damaged the windscreen and windowpanes.

According to the PTI leader, they have been on the highways since 9 a.m., and police have shot hundreds of tear gas shells at her convoy since then.

She went on to say that while she does not anticipate much from the current government, it is her responsibility to try to reach Islamabad despite the obstacles and blockades.
