In the Red Zone, the army takes possession of sensitive structures

After being summoned by the Interior Ministry for the area’s security, a Pakistan Army unit arrived in Islamabad’s Red Zone to take control of important structures.

The Army has taken over all security measures in the Red Zone of Islamabad. The Pakistan Army has been stationed at the President’s House, the Prime Minister’s House and Office, the Supreme Court, and other important government buildings in the vicinity.
