LAHORE – Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), asked the court to take action against the audio leaks on Sunday, claiming that recording conversations was a breach of fundamental rights.
Speaking via video link while flanked by Ms. Rashid, Mr. Khan emphasised the need of enforcing the law in relation to the audio recordings that had been released, stating, “There is a law in the nation surrounding the audio tape.”

Mr. Khan remembered that the Supreme Court (SC) received a petition relating the audio recording four months ago.
Ms. Rashid regretted that the assassination attempt on Mr. Khan’s life had not yet been proven, however.
The former CCPO was the JIT’s convener about the attempt on the PTI chief’s life, the speaker said. The Wazirabad incident’s supporting documentation, including the PDM, had vanished.
According to the Fair Trial Act, no one’s phone could be recorded, Ms. Yasmin said.

The PTI chairman said on Sunday that the PTI and its members will safeguard the integrity of the judiciary at all costs.
At a meeting with PTI leader Shahbaz Gill, the former prime minister spoke over the party’s strategy as well as the political climate in the nation. Mr. Khan emphasised the pressing necessity for elections, claiming that the nation has been experiencing economic instability and that postponing the polls would be against the law.
The PTI chairman said that the “imported administration” had been “targeting the judiciary to conceal the constitutional breach on their behalf.”
Mr. Khan blasted the administration for “making matters worse for individuals by ending public benefit schemes, like the health card service.” He said that since the poor were experiencing terrible economic troubles as a result of the record-breaking inflation, the authorities could not even face the populace.
According to Shahbaz Gill, the party members support the PTI’s philosophy. He remarked, “I ask that the party’s ideological young from the youth wing, ISF, and social media wing be given at least 10% of the tickets in the future election.”
He told Imran Khan that loyal employees should be chosen over candidates since they have remained with the party through thick and thin.
