ISLAMABAD : – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf petitioned the Supreme Court for the PTI head to appear in court through video connection.

In a joint letter written by PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Secretary General Asad Umer, it was stated that Imran Khan was the former prime minister and leader of the largest party, and that he was dethroned through conspiracy, with numerous fabricated cases filed against him and the party.

It was claimed in the letter that he survived the attempt on his life and his life was in danger if he would appear in the court in person and considering the history of the nation with many leaders being the subject of murder attempts, the threats to Imran Khan’s lifer were “serious”.

The letter said that the PTI’s chief’s recent appearance in the Islamabad High Court had security flaws and that the charges against him were a ploy to make him susceptible to an assault. As a result, it was urged in court to enable the appearance through video connection.
