(Reuters) – Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O) incorporated ChatGPT technology with its Power Platform on Monday, allowing customers to construct apps with little or no coding, the company’s latest integration of artificial intelligence into its products.

From Google Inc (GOOGL.O) to Baidu Inc (9888.HK), major technology firms are accelerating the integration of generative AI – technology that has garnered fame for its capacity to produce human-like text replies to inquiries – into their businesses.

Microsoft said the new capabilities were added to a suite of business intelligence and app development tools inside Power Platform, including Power Virtual Agent and AI Builder.

Power Virtual Agent, a chatbot development platform for organisations, can now link to internal corporate resources to provide weekly report summaries and consumer enquiries.

Moreover, Microsoft has introduced generative AI capabilities to AI Builder, which allows organisations to automate operations, and Dynamics 365, a business management platform.

Only in the United States will the features be accessible.

The software company incorporated OpenAI’s ChatGPT to its Bing search and Edge browser last month.
