ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday ordered authorities concerend to present former prime minister Imran Khan before it within an hour.
“Present Imran Khan before the court by 4:30pm,” a three-member bench ordered the Islamabad IGP.
The orders were passed by the SC while hearing a plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) petition challenging the arrest of former prime minister and party chief Imran Khan by NAB.
A bench comprising Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar ATA Ban dial along with Justices Attar Finally and Muhammad Ali Mazda are presiding over the hearings for this case.
Hamid Khan was leading the legal team representing Imran Khan as they appeared before the court, while making arguments in front of the Supreme Court bench Khan noted that Imran Khan had visited IOC for asking for bail but got arrested within court boundaries.
