ISLMABAD – Today, on 11 May 2023, the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran khan which caused immense unrest and political crisis in Pakistan has been declared unlawful by the Supreme Court of Justice.

The three-member bench comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Athar Minallah along with the CJP,  heard the former prime minister’s plea against his arrest in the Al-Qadir Trust case and ordered National Accountability Bureau and Islamabad IGP to produce Imran Khan within 30 minutes before the court.

The hearing of the case will commence soon.
