The Islamabad police on Thursday detained Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Muhammad Khan and Senator Ejaz Chaudhry from Islamabad.

According to the police, Ali Muhammad Khan was arrested under the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO).

Ali Muhammad was detained while on his way to the Supreme Court. Senator Ejaz was detained under the MPO from the Gilgit Baltistan House.

Previously, Shah Mehmood Quraishi, Fawad Chaudhry, and Asad Umar were detained and sent to Adiala Jail. According to the police, the PTI leaders were detained for instigating violence.
