Following a thorough hiring procedure, Grant Bradburn has been named head coach of the Pakistani national men’s team.

According to a statement released on Saturday by the Pakistan Cricket Board, he will serve as the team’s head coach for the following two years.

During the just finished home series against New Zealand, Bradburn led the team on a consulting basis. In the five-match One-Day International series, which they won 4-1, the Babar Azam-led team rose to the top of the ICC Rankings for the format. A 2-2 tie resulted in the five-match T20 International series.
