The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) will continue its sit-in outside Pakistan’s Supreme Court until Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial resigns, according to PDM leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
The 13-party coalition is planning a sit-in outside the Supreme Court on Monday (tomorrow) to protest the judiciary’s “favour” to PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
The protest sit-in coincides with the hearing of the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) petition requesting the Supreme Court to reconsider its order to hold elections to the Punjab Assembly on May 14. The petition will be heard one day after the election deadline set by the court expires.
