According to sources, President Raeesi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will jointly open a 100 megawatt electricity delivery from Iran to Pakistan.

According to reports, Pakistan is now importing 200 megawatts of power from Iran, but there is ability to increase this to 500 megawatts. Since 2002, Pakistan has been importing power from Iran to feed the Makran area of Balochistan.
