In the Dara Adamkhel region of the district of Kohat, two tribes engaged in fighting over a coal mine border that resulted in at least 16 deaths and several injuries.

According to police sources, the Sunni and Zarghoon Khel tribes engaged in fire on one other on Monday, which led to the alleged deaths of 16 people—11 on one side and 5 on the other.

The injured and dead were sent immediately to a hospital in Peshawar for treatment and postmortem investigations.
