The criminals who participated in violent protests a few days ago and destroyed a number of significant structures were being detained.

On Monday, there were 3368 criminals from Punjab who were in custody.

A spokeswoman for the Punjab Police claimed in a statement that there were close to 162 police officers and staff injured in Punjab.

In addition, over 94 police cars were destroyed as a result of the demonstrations, with losses in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Mianwali, Multan, Sialkot, Gujranwala, and Attock totaling 27, 19, 21, 9, 4, and 3 vehicles, respectively.
