RAWALPINDI (Reuters) – Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, the leader of the Awami Muslim League and a former federal interior minister, said on Saturday that an ordinary man cannot achieve justice if court decisions are ignored.
Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said on the social media platform Twitter that the constitution, laws, and rulings of the court were being violated.
“Educated people are being illegally arrested.” When these educated young people are released from prison, they will either flee the nation or fall into the clutches of radicals. The courts can only bring them into our society by giving them with legal justice. “That path only led through the courts,” Mr Rashid said.
According to the former federal minister, judges are dissatisfied since the law, the constitution, and their judgements are being ignored. Judges complained that their rulings were being disparaged.
According to the AML chairman, judges believe that the manner the authorities were mocking the constitution was unusual, and that it had not been done even under unconstitutional regimes.
He said that persons were arrested not just within the court, but even when bail was given to them outside the court. In another situation, the police would arrest them, or law enforcement forces from another province would hold them.
He said that the speaker would never allow 72 National Assembly members to enter the chamber. He would defy the court’s ruling.
The Awami Muslim League’s leader went on to say that the dollar’s worth had reached Rs 302. Pakistan has been refused a rescue deal by the IMF. The bogus budget created by absconder Ishaq Dar would further devastate the nation.
