Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, the president of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former chief minister of Punjab, has sharply criticised PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif and said that any attempts to split the PTI would fail.
The caretaker chief minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, came under fire from Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi while addressing to media for escalating the political turmoil in the state after the crackdown on political workers.

“Nawaz Sharif was inviting Modi and Jindal to their homes without visas for lunches when our jawans were being martyred by the Indian army on the border,” he claimed. The goal of Nawaz Sharif and Modi is to force civilians to fight with the military.

He said that the current caretaker administration created a scene about the presence of terrorists in Zaman Park but neglected to stage a covert operation in front of foreign media.

He said that under his leadership, Imran Khan enhanced the Pakistan Army and the country’s defences. He continued by saying that Imran Khan worked to dispel misunderstandings about the Pakistan Army in the West.

He said that Mohsin Naqvi is working on a plan against the country and that “the puppet government wants to worsen the situation in Punjab again.”

Pervaiz Elahi applauded the Lahore High Court’s decision to reinstate PTI members’ membership in the National Assembly. The political situation in the federation and provinces, according to him, might be resolved peacefully as a result of the restoration.
He said that the unlawful setups in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be put a stop by petitioning the courts as the interim administrations in both provinces have been legally completed.

In addition, he attacked people who had just left the party, calling them “political nomads” who had already been rejected by the party.

Any effort to split the PTI—from both the inside and the outside, according to Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi—would fail, and Imran Khan will maintain the party’s unity.

According to him, Imran Khan is the most well-liked leader not only in Pakistan but across the Islamic world, and PTI is the most well-liked political party among Pakistanis.
He said that Imran Khan had worked to advance Islam and Pakistan in the West and had spoken out at the UN in favour of the reverence due to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

He said that people calling for a ban on PTI lack sincerity for Pakistan and Islam.
