The police designated 95 suspects in connection with the May 9 mayhem on Sunday, including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Farrukh Habib, according to a supplemental report.
Former MNA Chaudhry Nisar Jutt, who ran against Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah in the elections, was also included in the additional report, and the name of Nadeem Aftab Sandhu was also taken from PP 118.
The anti-terrorism court (ATC) has placed 70 suspects on judicial remand. Ali Raza Bilal, the apprehended accused, was being held in police custody on a 14-day physical remand while a squad was assembled to arrest Mr Habib, Mr Jutt, and Mr Sandhu.
