The roof of a one-room house fell on Sunday in Landi Kotal’s Gagra neighbourhood, killing an 11-year-old girl and injuring eight other people, according to rescuers and witnesses.

Women and children are among those hurt. Rescuers assisted locals in pulling the victims from the rubble and transporting them to the hospital.

Apparently, the roof had structural flaws since it collapsed.
