The Judicial Magistrate South ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to produce a status update on the request for legal action against actor Muneeb Butt in a defamation case, and the actor was also ordered to personally appear before the court.

In response to a plea submitted by Attorney Faiq Ali Jagirani, the hearing was held on Thursday in the court of the judicial magistrate south at the Karachi City Court.

A court affidavit was provided by Muneeb Butt’s attorney during the proceedings. Faiq Ali Jagirani, the petitioner, objected to the affidavit, stating that Muneeb Butt’s signature on the power of attorney was erroneous and that the address was not stated.
