Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Ankara, Turkey, on Friday night on a two-day official visit to attend Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s inauguration, which is set to take place today (Saturday).
High-ranking officials from the Turkish Foreign Ministry and the Pakistan Mission in Turkey greeted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif upon his arrival at Ankara’s Esenboga Airport.
Marriyum Aurangzeb, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi are also accompanying the Prime Ministers on their tour to Turkiye.
The Prime Minister is in Turkiye at the request of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to take part in the celebration commemorating his re-election in the recent presidential election.
