Punjab police have declared that they will appeal the verdict of an anti-terrorism court (ATC) to release PTI leader Dr Yasmin Rashid in the Jinnah House attack case.

The police declared in a tweet on Sunday that all those engaged in the May 9 event, including Dr Yasmin, will be held responsible.

The police argued that the investigation was being done scientifically and that they had been denied the opportunity to submit forensic evidence in court.

The High Court will decide whether the court order is final, and the police remain dedicated to investigating and exposing the truth.
