The hearing for the reopening of the Panama Papers case was postponed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday for a month.

A panel made up of Justices Amin-ud-Din Khan and Sardar Tariq Masood took up the lawsuit brought by the Jamaat-e-Islami in August 2016. Without naming any politicians or businessmen implicated in the scheme, the party asked the top court to order the federation to launch an investigation into the Panama Leaks in accordance with Article 184(3) of the Constitution.

Justice Massod informed the JI attorney that the issue was delinked in 2017 as a result of your request.
