ISLAMABAD: In the next general elections, Jahangir Tareen’s newly formed Istikham-e-Pakistan party can help the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) gain seats, according to Defence Minister Khawaja Asif.

As soon as he arrived at the Parliament House for the National Assembly’s Budget Session, Khawaja Asif ruled out any threat Tareen’s political party would pose to the PML-N.

General elections, according to him, would be held on schedule, and Tareen and the PML-N can agree on a seat adjustment.
