Three terrorists were killed by security forces during a gunbattle with anti-state insurgents in North Waziristan’s Miranshah region, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday.
Three troops also chose martyrdom during the firefight that occurred between midnight on June 9 and June 10, while four terrorists were injured. Army retrieved guns and ammunition from extremists’ hands, according to a statement from the military’s media affairs division.
Soldiers Subaidar Asghar Ali, Naseem Khan, and Muhammad Zaman are among the fallen soldiers.
The ISPR said that a sanitization effort was underway to get rid of any further terrorists that were discovered in the region.
