Today (Monday) at 4:00 PM, the National Assembly will convene at Parliament House. During the session, the opposition and treasury benches will begin the general debate on the 2023–24 budget.

The standard agenda, which includes Call Attention Notices and Question Period, will not be followed throughout the meeting.

Raja Riaz, the head of the opposition in the National Assembly, will formally open the debate on the federal budget for 2023–2024 in accordance with house custom, and other nominated members will speak after him.
