Aleema Khan, the sister of the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), sought the Lahore High Court (LHC) to avoid being arrested in secret cases.

Ms. Khan also asked the court for information on the complaints made against her. She named the Punjabi government and other parties as respondents.

Ms. Khan’s bail in the Jinnah House attack case had previously been authorised by an anti-terrorism court (ATC), which also prohibited authorities from detaining her. The court ordered Ms. Khan to participate in the probe.
