As tropical cyclone Biparjoy is anticipated to make landfall between Keti Bandar (Southeast Sindh Coastline) and the Indian Gujarat Coastline today (Thursday), the provincial government has so far evacuated 67,367 people from coastal areas of Sindh, according to the provincial minister for information, Sharjeel Inam Memon.

According to Sharjeel Memon, 91% of residents of Sindh’s coastal towns have been relocated to safe areas.

He stated that safe locations had been found for 13,000 residents of Keti Bandar, 5,000 residents of Ghora Bari, 11,560 residents of Shaheed Fazil Raho, 8,500 residents of Sajawal, 8,160 residents of Jati, and 4,871 residents of Kharo Chan.
