Veteran diplomat Jane Marriott has been named the next British high commissioner to Pakistan by the United Kingdom.

Dr. Christian Turner, who transferred to another diplomatic service assignment, has been replaced by her. Ms. Marriott will start her new job in July 2023.

She is presently Nairobi’s British High Commissioner.
