The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shehryar Afridi was not brought before a magistrate as ordered by the Islamabad High Court (IHC), which led to a complaint of contempt of court.
According to Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir, everyone involved in the case, from the Inspector General of Police to the investigating officer, has been made aware of the breach of the court order.
On the following hearing, the court ordered the state attorney to give the IO a list of all the IGP officers who are accountable.
