On June 19, the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee will convene to observe Zilhaj’s moon.
Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad will preside over the Ruet-i-Hilal committee meeting at the Karachi headquarters of the meteorological department. After the meeting, the moon will be announced.
At the same time, other zonal committees would convene in Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, and Islamabad.
Zilhaj moon is expected to be visible in Pakistan on June 19 and Eidul Azha may fall on June 29 (Thursday), according to the Climate Data Processing Centre (CDPC).
