On late Friday night, two traffic incidents in Shujabad and Pakpattan resulted in at least 18 casualties.

Details indicate that the first accident occurred when a van’s tyre broke owing to overspeeding in the Pir Ghaib neighbourhood near Shujabad, injuring 12 people.

Rescue teams arrived on the scene and transported the injured to Shujabad’s Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. There were eight women among the injured, according to rescue personnel.
