The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, former ministers Fawad Chaudhry and Asad Umar, and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) have been charged with contempt.
All three political figures were summoned to appear before the panel in their individual capacities after ECP Sindh Member Nisar Durrani made the announcement that they will all be charged on July 11.
Have all parties shown up for the hearing? The session started with a question from Mr. Durrani. Faisal Chaudhry, an attorney for PTI, said that he had not received such an order.
