At Emmanuel Macron’s invitation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed for a two-day official trip to France.

He will attend the New Global Financing Pact Summit in Paris when he is there.

The summit will provide the leaders with a chance to talk about the details of a new global architecture that can address the issues associated with financing the agenda for sustainable development, the environment, energy transition, and climate change.

The prime minister will speak at the summit in his capacity as the G-77’s principal stakeholder and leader of one of the biggest developing nations most adversely impacted by climate change.
