Fashion designer Khadijah Shah’s request for bail in the Askari Tower attack case was denied by an anti-terrorism court in the Punjabi city on Thursday.

Following Ms’ filing of the post-arrest bail petition, ATC Judge Ejaz Ahmed Buttar rendered the reserved judgement one day earlier.

Her attorney had argued that his client was not a part of the attack and asked the court to release her on bond.

Shah was taken into custody on judicial remand earlier this week by the Lahore anti-terrorism court.
