HARARE: Dominant Sri Lanka dealt a crushing 133-run defeat to Ireland, ending its chances of making it to the Super Sixes of the CWC Qualifier, and opened the door for Scotland and Oman to advance.

On the strength of a stunning century by Dimuth Karunaratne and a five-for by Wanindu Hasaranga, tournament favourites Sri Lanka defeated Ireland by 133 runs in the 15th match of the CWC Qualifier.

Karunaratne and Sadeera Samarawickrama led the Sri Lankan batting onslaught as they racked up a mammoth total of 325 in 50 overs after being given the opportunity to bat first.
