At least three people were killed and 28 others were hurt in car accidents on Tuesday night in Karak, Khairpur, and Lahore.

Details indicate that the first incident happened near Karak, when the driver and cleaner of a caravan died when it rolled over owing to brake failure in Rangeen Chowk at the Indus Highway.

When rescue crews arrived, they moved the dead bodies to a neighbouring hospital.

In the second incident, a bus overshot a curve in Khairpur close to the toll plaza, killing a little kid there and wounding 22 people, including women and children.
