Despite having to divert flights for several hours, Russia claimed on Tuesday that Ukraine had assaulted Moscow with at least five drones that were all either shot down or jammed.

Moscow’s air defences shot down four Ukrainian drones, while a fifth was jammed and crashed into the Odintsovo neighbourhood of the Moscow area, according to the Russian defence ministry. Nobody was hurt.

Two drones were reportedly caught close to a settlement 30 kilometres (19 miles) southwest of the Kremlin, according to Russian news outlets. A single drone was found in the nearby Kaluga region.
